Location was excellent for great scenery. Betws y Coed was terrific and just a few minutes away by car.
The location was a little removed from everything other than the falls which are beautiful. The Hotel is shabby and a little dated. There was mold and damp in the corners of our room. Both the dining room and attatched pub lacked atmosphere were cold and quite inhospitable. The food was poor. For a budget hotel this would be just about satisfactory but this place claims to have 3 stars. Avoid and go elsewhere till it gets a refurbishment.

This hotel is set amongst beautiful scenery, directly opposite the Falls, and is very family and dog friendly. Breakfast times and meals on our return were first class and the staff very pleasant. The Snowdon range and pass is virtually just up the road. Will stay longer next time.

I thought the hotel was okay but was definitely not worth £95 per night.
It was run by foreign staff, The stay was for 2 nights and they did not even make the beds which you expect. The breakfast on the first morning was very poor it was okay on the 2nd morning.

I was grateful that the dining room was opened half an hour early for me so that I could get to my business meeting on time.
Only bar meals were available in the evening (admittedly it was a Monday) and the clearly micro-waved meal was pretty indifferent, though the chips were goog.

Proximity to Snowdon. Isolated location.
Limited amenities, especially for children. Food was just adequate and by no means well cooked or presented.
